Columbus Chill 16U & 18U Teams Set to Compete at 2025 USA Hockey Tier II National Championships
The Columbus Chill Hockey Club is excited to begin the 2025 USA Hockey Tier II National Championships, held April 2-6. With national titles on the line, both the 16U and 18U teams will represent Columbus on the biggest stage, looking to capture a Tier II National Championship.
The 16U team will travel to Wayne, NJ, playing all tournament games at Ice Vault Arena in the 3A - USA Division. Entering the tournament ranked #5 in the nation according to MyHockeyRankings, the Chill 16U squad is poised for a strong run. Their schedule is as follows:
April 2 – 8:00 AM: vs. #8 Chesterfield Falcons (MO)
April 3 – 6:00 PM: vs. #19 Team Philadelphia (PA)
April 4 – TBD: vs. #88 MN Green Giants (MN)
The 18U team heads to Utica, NY, competing at the Nexus Center in the 3A - NHL Division. Entering the tournament as the #14 ranked team, they will face a tough round-robin schedule:
April 2 – 5:15 PM: vs. #17 Montgomery Ice Devils (MD)
April 3 – 11:00 AM: vs. #8 Long Island Rebels (NY)
April 4 – 9:00 AM: vs. #5 Chicago Hawks (IL)
Following round-robin play, the top two teams from each division will advance to the quarterfinals on April 5, with semifinals and championship games to follow.
All games will be streamed live on USAHockeyTV, allowing fans to follow along and support the Chill teams from anywhere.
