The Columbus Chill Hockey Club is the top Pre/Post hockey program for High School players from central Ohio.
Under the guidance and leadership of Coach RJ Umberger, the Columbus Chill gives players the opportunity to learn from high level coaches through a proven training schedule. Practices are fast paced and challenge players through innovative drills and games to provide comprehensive skill development that will transfer to game play better than “old-school” drills.
The Chill plans to field teams in the 18U and 16U age groups, tiered by competitive level. These teams will operate from early August to late October, with the exception of the national bound teams. The national bound 18U and 16U teams will compete for the Mid-Am District Championship for the chance to secure a bid to the USA Hockey National Tier II Championships in April.

Equipment
National Bound teams need black helmets, pants/shell, and black gloves.
Competitive & In Town teams have no restriction on helmets, pants, and gloves
Jerseys
Competitive and In Town teams home and away jerseys are not included. These teams will not use a third jersey.
Players can use jerseys for multiple years if possible.
Ages
New for 2025, 2011's will be intermixed on 16U teams eliminating all 15U teams. This will continue to help prepare the players for their transition to high school hockey.
